Ontario Trillium Foundation
The Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) is an agency of the Ontario Government with a mission to build healthy and vibrant communities across the Province. Last year, OTF invested more than $110M into 1,044 community projects and multi-sector partnerships. Projects aim to enhance economic well-being, foster more active lifestyles, support child and youth development, provide spaces for people to come together and connect, and create a more sustainable environment. As a funding recipient for 2024-2025, the Niagara Safety Village will use a $60,300 Capital grant over 12 months to renovate and upgrade our facility supporting students to develop stronger social, emotional, and leadership skills in the communities where they live.
Wise Guys Charity Fund
Their Mission: “Wise Guys Charity Fund is committed to raising awareness and financial support for local causes in Niagara. We are active, responsible patrons improving the quality of life in our community”.
As a funding recipient for 2025, the Niagara Safety Village will use a $16,586 grant to complete the purchase and installation of new flooring in our teaching facility, ensuring the ongoing safety training and education of all the children, parents, and participants who visit.
Branscombe
Family Foundation
The Branscombe Family Foundation is a private charitable organization located in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Founded in 1977 by Frank and Mildred Branscombe, its current objectives are to promote higher education for students graduating from secondary schools and to assist in the improvement of the quality of health care and selected social programs in The Regional Municipality of Niagara.
As a funding recipient for 2024-2025, the Niagara Safety Village will use a $25,000 grant to purchase new classroom tables, and assist with programming costs for the children of Niagara who participate in our Police, Fire, and EMS programs.
Niagara Regional Chair’s Charity Golf Tournament
This Charity Golf Tournament is a yearly event established to bring together members of the community and businesses and provide an opportunity to give back each year to a number of non-profit agencies in the Niagara region. Over the past 25 years this tournament has raised over $2.2 million to support these agencies and the vulnerable populations they provide assistance to. Although the event is the Chair’s Tournament in name, it is the strength of the Niagara community that makes it special.
As a funding recipient of the 2024 tournament, the Niagara Safety Village will use a $7,600 donation to purchase new pedal cars and bicycles for our Police Education Program covering road and pedestrian safety.
