The Niagara Safety Village is proud to present our Girls Leadership Opportunity. This is a week long summer camp sponsored by Welland Canadian Tire and Jumpstart.

The camp will include a combination of individual exercises, team building activities, guest speakers, mentorship, and wellness activities designed to increase and nurture positive self-image, boost emotional intelligences and inspire girls to lean in to their strength and individuality.

Each day is structured around a particular theme with a guest speaker, followed by discussion and activities to allow the participants to practice and model the skills and knowledge they have achieved building on the concepts from the day before. Our themes include strength, inspiration, leadership, self-care, reflection, mindfulness, resilience and personal growth.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Participants must be residents of Welland,
• Between the ages of 13-14 (or recently completed grade 7/8)
• A completed application must be submitted to the Executive Assistant by the deadline.

WHAT WE OFFER:

• Breakfast and lunch are included,
• Bus transportation to and from camp from designated school pick up locations
